I'm back safe and sound after a lovely trip back to see family and friends in England. I chose the one week when snow seemed to have brought the whole of the UK to a stand still! Salt reserves ran out to grit the roads, schools were closed all week and it stopped some of my family being able to get to us, which was a shame. But it did make for a pretty picture and I was delighted I got to see my little niece that is now a year and 2 months old, a real cutie pie. I made her a soft fleece elephant which I took over with me on the Eurostar train, how funny it must have looked going through the security x-ray machine! She loved her new friend, giving her a cuddle and tried to feed it cookies! I modelled this Ele on one I had as a child that is now on the grubbier side of white after a life time of loving!
I have just listed a new postcard set of my illustration "For The Love of books" in my Etsy store, with 6 sweet postcard sized prints for the price of 5. They would be a lovely way to brighten someone's day with a little note or sweetly framed.
I have a new illustration which I will share over the next day or so (there will be a bunny to see in this one!). Hope you've all been well. I look forward to catching up with you all. Beary Hugs, Catherine x

Welcome home, Catherine! Glad you had a grand time in England...in spite of weather! The pink elephant is darling, such a beauty! The new books & bears cards are so charming--love them. Must say I love the new look and banner here--so sweet, but elegant too! Happy Days as you settle in home and work again! ((HUGS))
Awww...I had a pink sewn elephant when I was a little girl. How sweet.
