Storytime

"Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin" said Little Bear proudly. After a long day playing out in the woods, the bears loved nothing better than Storytime by the warmth of their fire. Little Bear had so many favourite books he couldn't choose just one, as usual Storytime could take a while!

With all the cold winter weather many of us are having I hope this new Mounted Print will bring some cosiness into your life. It is available from my Etsy store or directly from me, just send me an email.

I'm quite in love with Belle and Boo too! But your bears just kill me ... Have you ever heard of Teddy Robinson? They were my favorite books as a child and I still sometimes manage to persuade my husband to read me the stories!

Dear Catherine,
I am so happy to get caught up with your blog and see your wonderful success with your bears and your prints and your stories. I LOVED the Christmas story and the way you word things: "sat in a heap feeling sorry for themselves." The way you word things just draws me in and makes me want to hear more, much more, about what my little bear friends are doing.

I've been rather absent. Trouble on the home front, I'm afraid, and it never seems to end. I apologize for not updating you sooner ... the news was just too sad and I didn't want to dwell on it. We lost our case in court. The other party lied and we lost the house. The bank auction, which was already held once the day before Thanksgiving, was rescinded and is now being held again tomorrow. We had never heard of that being done before. So now we are on the edges of our seats waiting to see if anyone buys this house or if it will be bank owned. Bank owned would be good news, because then maybe they would sell it to us. If the previous owner brings the loan current and it's under his control again, not so good! He's been very unpleasant to work with and has not kept ANY of his promises to us ... but he did keep our $100,000 deposit.

In the meanwhile, I am trying to be productive and get my own business going. I am very inspired by you and no doubt could use your advice on how to set up my own etsy account, if you have a moment.

Please come and see a bit of my work at

www.iridescentimages.blogspot.com

I only have a few samples up, but I will be adding more.

Perhaps I could make cards out of my prints too?

Or put them on plates. You might want to put yours on plates too. If you e mail me I'll tell you all about it.

Hugs to you Catherine!

I appreciate the friendship you have always showered me with.

Wendy
