My new Bear is coming along well, his face is taking shape so I hope to share him with you next week. I was asked the other day what I think of when I hear the word Inspiration, well for me I love to find inspiration in crafts, visiting new places, and nature is a wonderful source. Here are a few inspiring photos of the last Autumn colours holding on, in our local woods. There is a sweet little Tea House at the end of the alley of trees that links to a a very grand castle. (If you click on the links at the end of this post you can see more castle photos).
So my question to all of you is what comes to your mind when you hear the word Inspiration, what things inspire you, or if you looked up the word Inspiration on a search engine what would you be hoping to find/looking for?
I'm looking forward to your thoughts. Have a wonderful weekend, HUGS, Catherine x

For me, Inspiration means nature.
Our natural world is so full of beauty, wonder and intrigue... if anyone ever claims to be uninspired, then they just aren't looking around.
Catherine,
I love the picture of the long path-it's definately inspirational! As for my source of insiration I would have to say everything comes from God. He inspires me in all of my writing and my photography in the beauty that He surrounds me with and the wonderful people that encourage me:).
Blessings,
Kim
Oh Catherine, how beautiful, I would so love to walk those woods... Nature is my inspiration... every aspect of it... love to you, Julie and Honeybeary
Hello Catherine! Your illustrations are beautiful, as is the photography. I'm so glad you found my blog, which brought me to your blog! I look forward to following along~
LOVE these photos, Catherine...and very interesting post topic! Inspiration means a lot of sources for me--the natural world around me is the greatest source of inspiration at all time. But noticing textures of all things--be it fiber, glass, bark, metal... pretty much everything sparks ideas. Dreams too fuel the creative fires. Sometimes a vision of something appears to me and begs to be brought to life. Always keeping eyes open for new sources of inspiration...it's never a dull moment! Happy weekend, my friend :o) ((HUGS))
Lovely pics Catherine:o)) Inspiration - food for thought me thinks. I would say that mine comes from so many things around me so I never get bored! There is always something which will give inspiration a kick:o))
Have a good weekend. Hugs Lyn x
