Feeling Blue!

No, not me! I've just started creating a new Bear from this gorgeous wavey blue mohair. It has a slightly mottled appearance of pale and duck egg blue. I thought you might enjoy seeing his progress as I bring him to life, so here is the mohair waiting to be transformed.

The pieces have been drawn and cut out, seams all trimmed, tomorrow I will start sewing them all together. I hope you'll enjoy following his journey. Beau has been sat watching a new friend magically be brought to life. He feels a little sad and asks me why a new family has not found him yet. I give him a big hug and say that sometimes extra special bears need to wait a little longer to find their "just right" family. In the meantime he is enjoying reading my Granny's children's books.

The birds are busy nesting in my garden, I've had fun taking some photos of them, beaks full of twigs, swopping into their bird house. I'll share the photos very soon. In the meantime I am busy printing and getting together an order for a stockist. Catherine and Blue Bear! xx

What a lovely shade of bear he is going to be!

Oh I was wondering about Beau, bless his fluffy paws. I think he is lucky to get to spend some time with you for a while though...

Love the colour for the new bear... it will make for a very handsome fellow (or very pretty wee lady, whichever the case may be.. lol!) once he/she is finished.

Poor Beau.. I'm sure it won't be much longer before he finds a loving family of his own. I'd love to give him a home, if finances weren't so tight currently. Please give the furry wee man a hug from me.

My first bear was blue, and his name WAS Blue Bear. Sadly he was lost in an overseas move when I was a teenager but I've never forgotten him. Can't wait to see yours, Catherine! And your bird photos!!! Isn't the nesting activity adorable! Have a lovely week! xo – g

Beautiful shade of blue!! Oh I can't wait to see what you create with it. I have a blue long pile mohair cut and ready to be sewn, but boy if it is long! I need some extra concentration with it ;))
Poor Beau! Give him a huge hug from me!
