I Heart Cottages!

I've been busy with a needle in one hand and pencil in the other working on lots of new exciting projects! With my commission Bear ready to show next week I hope I wanted to share these gorgeous cottages I saw on my recent trip to The New Forest in the UK. These were in a sweet village called Beaulieau where there is a lovely tea room, Bear Shop and Art Gallery. Can't beat England for these gorgeous higglety pigglety buildings! Being pretty little I'm sure I would fit nicely through the front doors of these!

Hope you're all doing well and I'll see you back soon. Catherine x

I like big spaces to live in...and any space with good architecture to look at. These fit the bill!!

One of my all time favourite villages - oh to live in a cottage one day. But for now I guess I will just have to dream.

take care,

oooh what I wouldn't do to get my hands on that red door for my photographs! Makes me sad to be here where this kind nostalgia doesn't exist.x

Oh, I love cottages, too! What a lovely place. I remember visiting Odense in Denmark and how the buildings were so cute and quaint. Short little doorways, too!

Hugs,

So charming, Catherine! You must have loved that tea room. On our last trip to England, we went to Hartfield and the Pooh Corner Shoppe. We tried to find the Pooh Stick Bridge, which I guess is sign posted, but the forest was sooo muddy we had to turn back. Look forward to more photos and have a lovely weekend. xo – g

Hmmmmm .... my comment just disappeared into an internet error!

But my point was that I LOVED going along with you (vicariously) on this visit to town. Do you pronounce it BO LO? Soooooo quaint! I would have loved to sip cocoa there. And to have touched that huge bear in the window.

You take such lovely pictures too.

I absolutely love your blog and the blogger in residence.

I 'heart' cottages too! I think my dream is to have a cottage set in about an acre! We can all dream can't we?!

Thanks for the vote for Fudge and your lovely compliment!
