Bunting in the breeze..

When I was back in the UK just before the Olympics you could feel the excitement in the air, with Union Jack & Olympic bunting flying everywhere you looked.  It turned out to be worth the excitement, it has been lovely to hear how well it has affected people's mood, at least in the UK (I hope elsewhere too).  Family have told me that people have been smiling on the street far more than normal!

So to keep that cherry mood going and to cheer myself* up a bit here is a glimpse of The New Forest area all bright and breezy.  *My cat Phoebe is poorly again, the vet says she has a cold, anti-biotics had helped but she is struggling with breathing again, so another trip to the vet this evening, I do hate it when animals are poorly.

Lyndhurst
Love this vintage shop in Lyndhurst, with cake stands of the tiniest soaps!

ok, no bunting, but couldn't resist this Cottage!

So sorry your Phoebe is under the weather, Catherine... Do hope your cat-girl will be feeling better very soon! And you too... as I know what a worry it is. LOVE, love, love all these images pre-games. All that bunting everywhere...*sigh*... I think it should be left up all the time for the sense of cheer! Oh, this has me missing the UK... I just have to live there someday. How, when, etc...I'm not sure, but it is a pipedream! ;o) Be taking good care ((HUGS))

Darlikng photos, Catherine!

I have definitely heard how cheery most people have been in England this year. So much to celebrate. And yes, it did spread all the way over here. The Olympics were very popular and raised spirits across the country.

Sending healing wishes for Phoebe.

I'm so happy to see your beautiful photos Catherine. They are so amazing and I loved the cottage too : )

I am so sorry about your kitty and I agree, it is so hard to see our sweet pets sick.

A hug for you and a hug for Phoebe...
