The winner is... and Halloween Adventures

Thanks to so many of you for entering my Summer Hill giveaway, I wrote and cut up all the names onto paper and the winner is Tabiboo (Nina). Congratulations Nina, the Bumpkin Bunnies will be hopping their way to you! For those that were not lucky to win this time you can still visit the Bunnies here.

In honour of Halloween and pumpkin hunting time approaching I've created these party invitations of the Bumpkin friends off on an adventure in their fancy dress costumes. You can buy sets of these invitations with free gift tags for treat bags here in my Etsy Store

For sending your greetings I've also got these Fall & Halloween Notecards.

My commission Bear is coming along and I'm busy sketching new illustrations for Christmas that is waving his snowy hands at me from the horizon! I've also been taking care of my kitty, Ollie, this week, after a visit to the vets and being told he has arthritis, the cortisone injection he was given had some pretty nasty side effects for him :( Today he seems to be a wee bit better, so I do hope he will be ok. Take care and have a great weekend, we're off Blackberry picking tomorrow! Hugs, Catherine xx

If you go down to the woods today...

look at who I spotted in the woods.. the friends were out pumpkin hunting and found all these amazing toadstools with mini frogs hopping about, which did make Bunny jump! Although I think the frogs were more surprised of Bunny in his ghost outfit!!

Talking of spooky look at this deserted house I found in the woods!!

Today I started making a special Moon Bear in gorgeously soft faux furs, can't wait for you to meet him.

There's also a Dancing Bunny waiting behind the curtains ready to put on a performance for you all any moment, so hop back soon!
Hugs, Catherine xx

Pumpkin Time and Halloween Parade!

I've been working on these new illustrations for a while now and am happy to share them as Notecards in my Etsy store.

So many Pumpkins to choose from, what a fun day Bear and Owl had. It was lucky they took their wheelbarrow! Take a look at their Pumpkin Time Card here.

They had spent all week on their costumes, carved out their most spooky faces in the pumpkins and set off for the Trick or Treat Halloween Parade! Bunny was sure that no one knew it was him under the sheet and Little Bear insisted he REALLY was a witch's Black Cat! It was going to be a fun night! Take a look at their Halloween Parade Card here.

The sun has been glowing this week, I've got some photos of the animals in the village which I'll share soon as well as more sweet Art. Have a great weekend, Hugs, Catherine x

The view from here..

What a difference a day can make, lately I have had a wonderful view from our living room of a field full of marigolds! Not quite a pumpkin field but sure brings lots of colour at this chilly time of year. Right now I can't see a thing, thick fog is filling the air out there. I thought you'd enjoy some photos of the field and a few of the horses around here in the village, I can see the heavy Brabant horse from our living room which I love. I've started a new bear which I have been looking forward to making for a while. His mohair is just such a gorgeous cosy antique brown, I decided that this bear will be such a charmer that he needed a special lady friend so last night I started on a pretty girl in such a sweet pink soft mohair. I'm looking for some vintage accents for these two, so do come back soon :) Happpyyy Hallooooooween for tomorrow :) Beary Hugs, Catherine x

Boo and his Halloween tricks!

I've had such fun with this wee little guy, his name is Boo and he is only 4.5"! He would so love to join the circus, he says with all the tricks and acrobatics that he can do with his pumpkin he would surely make a wonderful halloween clown. He likes to proudly tell anyone that asks, (or that doesn't even ask) that he grew his pumpkin allllll by himself from seed! Boo and his pumpkin would make a great addition to your Fall Halloween displays and would bring great entertainment to your hug. He measures a tiny 4.5" (11cm) when standing and would fit in the palm of your hand.

Take a peek at all the fun Boo is having on my website.

If you would like to give this little guy a new home just drop me an email, Beary hugs, Catherine and Boo xx
