Luxembourg - Valley of the Castles

Last weekend we spent a few days in Luxembourg, which borders on Belgium. It is a small but very beautiful country, with wide open landscapes, forests with sparkling rivers through them and lots of Castles. I'll start our journey with Ansembourg Chateau, privately owned so you can't visit the inside of the Chateau but the gardens are open for free. It was rather run down in places and a lot more could have been made of the gardens. However I was captivated by the little turreted buildings and dreamt of having one as a little craft studio! There was one strip in the garden that had been planted up that was so pretty with roses and sweet peas. I hope you enjoy escaping into this magical place.

More photos of the rest of the trip to follow. Behind the scenes my new Bear can now see and smell, she just needs some ears, so I hope to have her all ready to show some time next week! In the meantime don't forget my SALE over at Etsy. Have a lovely weekend, Catherine x

Thanks for visiting my blog earlier today and for your compliments re: my lavender pouch.

I haven't a clue how you managed to find me, but I hope you'll visit again.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.

What a lovely place Luxembourg is!

I have never been there. I went to Belgium many years ago, my Mum and Dad took me and my Sister.

But of course Luxembourg is no patch on your lovely, lovely bears:)

Fabulous photos, Catherine! I've heard the gardens there were amazing and they certainly are. Thank you so much for sharing these. And I'm really pleased that the rose photos reminded you of your Granny's. That's quite a compliment. :) Look forward to meeting your new Bear. Have a very special weekend, my dear. hugs. xo - g
