Feeling Cosy & Stitchy!

I've been so busy behind the scenes working on some very exciting illustration projects and sending out Christmas orders! Then a trip to the UK for sweet Nativity Christmas school Plays, birthday parties and early Christmas cheer!  So I've not been in Blogland as much as I would like!  This post I hope will make up for this and bring some bright and cosy Christmas cheer to each and every one of you, so make yourself comfy with a mince pie or two!

But just before I share photos I am over the moon to have my festive Embroidery Patterns featured on the FAB-U-LOUS  Feeling Stitchy Blog, head on over there to enter a Giveaway for my Friends for Tea Ornament Pattern!  Such a sweet and quick project to make for the Tree and to hop into stockings for Tea Parties all year round!

Right back to my photos, are you ready... then I'll begin in London at Liberty, always a highlight of my trips there.

I love to visit National Trust houses & gardens and this was my first visit to Hughenden Manor, the home of the Victorian Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, a friend of Queen Victoria. It also had a secret WWII past used as the base for map making for the RAF, being on Hitler's Top Hit List, luckily he never found it!
It was decorated for Christmas as it would have been in Victorian times.

Christmas as it would have been in the 1940's, complete with the music, wonderful!

I'll be taking more Christmas photos here in Belgium that I will share with you soon.
In the meantime thanks heaps for visiting and stay warm or cool wherever you are in the world!

Beautiful photos! It reminds me of visiting the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC at Christmas time. They have a Christmas tree in every room. Love the sweet ornament pattern! Happy holidays to you, my friend!
