Feeling blue ..

sorry I've not been around for a week, I was hit with flu, but am starting to feel better now. I had a lovely birthday with my fiance, we went to my favourite garden centre and he bought me the most beautiful flowers. I have been wanting to make a soft blue coloured bear for a while now and decided to dye some mohair yesterday. I love dying, you never quite know how it will turn out and I'm really pleased with this one, just what I wanted :) It is a gorgeously soft mohair too. I started to sew him this morning so he's beginning to come to life, can't wait to meet this chap :) Chat again soon, Catherine x

Glad your flu is over...thanks for stopping by my blog. Sushi was a lilac point kitty we rescued..he cost us almost 4 grand in the 8 months we had him..unfortunately he had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and passed, his cardiologist could do nothing more. We miss him so much.

Hope the flu has fully flown by now! It really knocks the stuffing out of you doesn't it?

I'd love to try dyeing mohair. I might get around to it someday!

Flowers are gorg by the way!

Hugs, Sarah x

Hi Catherine! Found you through catherder's blog. Sorry you had the flu. Glad you are getting better. I just looked at all of your bears and they are really quite nice. I'm not a BIG teddy bear fan, but I am a HUGE bear fan ... you know ... the ones that look like wild bears. I'm just re-doing my bedroom to include them with my moose theme.
Anyways, greetings from Sunny Southern California!
I just saved you as one of my favorite bookmarks, so I will be back!
